A poem can be a good way for people to express emotion even though I don’t necessarily like to express myself through writing poems it’s interesting to see poems that other people are expressing their feelings with.

The hardest thing about writing the symbolist poem was to think of what to actually write about. I wrote and deleted what I was writing so many times and kept changing what I was writing about. It was hard to think of something interesting enough to write about and then try to think of the other requirements that went along with it. I just kept looking around my room and thinking of things I use daily until I wrote something kind of okay. I think I did just okay, after I figured out what to write about it was really difficult to write a lot about it. I don’t know how people write huge poems, it’s so hard to think of different things to say without sounding too repetitive. I don’t really think any of my poems are that good but when I read them to the group they always say it’s good. I still feel so lost when I write a poem like I don’t know how to write one.
